There are rumors circulating that L'Jarius Sneed may not be returning to Kansas City during free agency, but go and 'nest' with the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Kansas City Chiefs' victory in Super Bowl LVIII was largely attributed to the outstanding performance of their defense. Under the guidance of defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo, the team's defense held opponents to 27 points or fewer in every game this season. During the playoffs, they limited the Miami Dolphins and Baltimore Ravens to a total of 17 points.

Chris Jones made a significant impact, along with players such as Nick Bolton and Justin Reid. However, L'Jarius Sneed was the standout player who effectively shut down opposing receivers, at times quite literally.

Eagles players are persuading L'Jarius Sneed to leave Chiefs

With his rookie contract expiring, Sneed is poised to secure a lucrative deal in free agency. Although the Chiefs are eager to have him return, some Philadelphia Eagles players are strongly advocating for L'Jarius Sneed to come to Philly.

Speculation about a potential transfer to the Eagles has surfaced before. Recently, Sneed included an eagle emoji in his latest Instagram post. Many enthusiasts started to speculate. Now, with the report of Eagles players directly texting Sneed, the rumors will start to gain momentum.

The Philadelphia Eagles are in need of significant assistance in their defensive backfield. Despite the arrival of All-Pro safety Kevin Byard in the middle of last season, the team had difficulties containing passing attacks. Adding Sneed to the team would be an excellent way to kick off the rebuilding phase.
