Tiger Woods Prepares for Masters, Sex Ban for Victory?

Apr 4, 2024Author: Klei Hoxha

The golfing world is abuzz with anticipation for the Masters Tournament kicking off next week. All eyes are on Tiger Woods, who's taken a rather unconventional approach to prepare for the Masters.

Focus on the Green Jacket: Tiger Woods Opts for Pre Masters Sex Ban

According to sources close to the legend, Woods has implemented a self-imposed sex ban until after the tournament. This bold decision reportedly aims to maximize his focus and dedication to the game.

A friend of Woods, speaking exclusively to The New York Post, revealed, "He's working incredibly hard in the gym, eating right, and has even eliminated sex. This is his routine now when preparing – no intimacy until the tournament is over. He doesn't want anything to distract him."

Physical Challenges and Unwavering Determination

This news comes amidst speculation surrounding Woods' personal life after his well-publicized split with former girlfriend Erica Herman in 2023. However, Woods' friend remained tight-lipped on the topic, stating there's "no one to speak of" regarding his dating life.

Tiger Woods, a five-time Masters champion, is undoubtedly setting his sights on securing his sixth green jacket at Augusta National. Despite ongoing physical challenges, including chronic back pain and limited mobility in his left ankle, Woods remains determined to compete at the highest level.

Can Woods Overcome Physical Limitations?

Former Stanford teammate and longtime friend Notah Begay III acknowledged the physical hurdles Woods faces. "He's crafting a strategy to work within the limitations he has," Begay said. "And there are limitations."

Despite these obstacles, Tiger Woods recently played Augusta National alongside PGA Tour player Justin Thomas and club chairman Fred Ridley, showcasing his commitment to Masters preparation.

His last victory at Augusta came in 2019, marking a triumphant comeback after a decade without major championship wins.

"He has no mobility in his left ankle and significant lower back issues, which were expected," Begay revealed. "For the past few months, he's been focused on finding ways to recover effectively."

Begay elaborated on Woods' biggest challenge: "He can certainly play the golf. The question has always been, 'Can he walk all 72 holes?' That remains uncertain. But the biggest unknown is whether he can recover from round to round. He won't know for sure until he's out there on the course and sees if his Masters preparation will hold up."

With the Masters looming, the question lingers: Will Tiger Woods' unconventional preparation pay off? Golf fans will have to wait with bated breath until April 11th to witness the outcome as Tiger Woods tees off in pursuit of another Masters title.
