Jamal Murray, fresh off a buzzer-beater in Game 3, continued his resurgence with 19 points and 8 assists. Despite Anthony Edwards' valiant effort, scoring a team-high 44 points for the Timberwolves, the supporting cast failed to deliver. Karl-Anthony Towns struggled offensively, shooting a disappointing 5-for-18 from the field for just 13 points. Similarly, Rudy Gobert's impact was minimal, contributing only 11 points and 14 rebounds without a significant defensive presence.

The turning point came in the second quarter. With the Nuggets already leading by a narrow margin, a series of Timberwolves mistakes opened the door for Denver. Capitalizing on these errors, the Nuggets extended their lead to a comfortable 15 points by halftime, capped off by a clutch three-pointer from Jamal Murray.
