Nikola Jokic is closely solidifying his name as MVP with yet again another record set in the victory vs Washington Wizards, Nuggets won 130-110 with the help of Jokic' triple double. On Thursday knight the Serbian center was the main character of the night. He was totally unstoppable on offense and impassable at defense.
Jokic's statistics started to rise, and in the third quarter, he achieved a remarkable feat by becoming the third player to record a triple-double against every team he has played.
Jokic finished with 21 points, 15 assists, and 19 rebounds after an assist to Aaron Gordon with 10:30 left in the third quarter. He now matches Russell Westbrook and LeBron James in having a triple-double versus every team.
Nikola became the fourth player with the most triple-doubles. Jokic's 121 triple double puts him on track to catch Magic Johnson's 138 and possibly Oscar Robertson's 181 and Westbrook's 198.He also holds the fastest triple-double (14 minutes and 33 seconds), surpassing Wilt Chamberlain (78), Domantas Sabonis (27), and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (21).
It's undeniable that Jokic will keep making history and expanding his impressive record collection. The player who currently reigns supreme in the NBA appears to have limitless potential.
