Achraf Hakimi PSG's right-back is interested in making a return to Real Madrid in the 2025 summer window, joining Kylian Mbappe. Mundo Deportivo reports that Hakimi is eager to accompany his long time friend Mbappe to the Santiago Bernabeu. The player's contract is set to expire in 2026, and given PSG's desire to avoid losing him for free, he could potentially persuade the club to allow his transfer to the Spanish capital.
Hakimi shares a strong friendship with Mbappe both on and off the pitch. If a potential conflict arises in Mbappe's deal with Real Madrid, the club might consider utilizing Hakimi's signing as a bargaining tool to facilitate a resolution for Mbappe and his team.
Hakimi emerged from Real Madrid's academy, La Fabrica. He progressed within the club before going on two loan spells and eventually leaving permanently, unable to secure a spot in the starting lineup over seasoned right-back Dani Carvajal.
After Mbappe's impending departure, Luis Enrique will be looking to restructure the squad in order to give it a fresh appearance. Hakimi has been a mainstay in the squad for Luis Enrique so far this season, and the Spaniard will be trying to keep the Moroccan player at the club for at least the remainder of this season.
