"Did Tiger Woods support me? No, not really," Rahm admitted. "I texted him, and he seems too busy to talk."

"When the two entities began discussing the possibility of working together, it opened my eyes," he stated. "Perhaps I hadn't been as open-minded as I should have been. "While the PGA Tour has traditionally been the pinnacle of golf, there's a substantial shift in how golfers are now compensated," he said. "I'd be disingenuous if I said it wasn't a major factor in my decision. Ultimately, I'm getting paid to play the same sport while having more time at my disposal. That's a compelling proposition for many people, myself included."
