On Monday marca reported that Kylian Mbappe had signed a 5 year contract with Real Madrid. Javier Tebas LaLiga President has told L'Equipe that Real Madrid does not need to sell anyone to pay for Mbappe. He also said that t's definitely a step in the right direction for the league.

"Of course, this is fantastic news for Real Madrid and for Spanish football," Tebas stated in the interview with L'Equipe.

When discussing the financial impact of Mbappe transfer to Real Madrid, Javier Tebas emphasized that the club will not encounter the same problems that have recently affected Barcelona. Tebas also discussed his strained relationship with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, stemming from Perez's involvement in the European Super League project.

He also discussed the Super League, as it grapples with determining its future. "The issue is not Real Madrid, but Florentino Perez and his very personal vision. Every day, more and more fans of the team are opposed to the Super League concept."
