Jackson lit up the second half with 25 points and made key three-pointers in the fourth quarter to win. His efficient shooting display included hitting 14 of his 26 shots from the field.

"I was taking what the defense gave me," Jackson said after the game. "I've been working on my game a lot and I was glad to get the opportunity to get out there and show it a little bit."

Match Analysis

The Bucks, struggling to hold onto the second seed in the Eastern Conference, were dealt another blow as Antetokounmpo's health became a concern. The reigning NBA Finals MVP logged only 32 minutes due to a back-to-back situation, raising questions about his fitness moving forward.

Despite missing key players like  Morant, Bane, and Smart, the Grizzlies found success by attacking the paint. Their strategy revolved around utilizing Jackson's size and strength in the interior, ultimately outscoring the Bucks 76-36 in the paint.

"We got beat off the dribble a ton, and just not by their guards, by their bigs as well," admitted Bucks coach Doc Rivers. "Jaren Jackson turned the whole game around."

A pivotal 9-0 run sparked by Jackson in the final minutes sealed the deal for Memphis. This surge extended their lead to a comfortable eight points, a margin the Bucks couldn't overcome.

The Bucks, without Damian Lillard, Khris Middleton, and Patrick Beverley, couldn't match the Grizzlies' determination. Lillard is anticipated to return shortly, but the Bucks must manage their health to reintroduce their main players.

This win further cements the Grizzlies' position as a serious threat in the Western Conference. Jaren Jackson Jr.'s 35 points and the team's unity will make them a postseason force.
