Forbes features Saul Alvarez

Dec 8, 2023Author: Klind Parangoni

As a member of Forbes' 30 Under 30, Mexican middleweight king Saul Alvarez was featured in his own piece. Despite the fact that he is already 33 years old, Alvarez remains one of the world's most successful athletes. They produced a profile of his several firms and discussed his $275 million wealth earned during his career. He was on the cover of the newspaper for 2023 and earned a name for himself among his colleagues. Every boxer in the world understands that a bout with 'Canelo' will suddenly transform their life, and the Jalisco native is well aware of this.

Despite the fact that he has been condemned by several detractors from various entities throughout the years, Alvarez continues to win without breaking a sweat. The Middleweight king is already looking like he will tenfold what he accomplished in 2023 in 2024. In one of their most recent tweets, Forbes wrote about him: "Having amassed a $275 million fortune as one of the best pound-for-pound boxers in the world, the 33-year-old Mexican champion is once again punching above his weight as he builds an empire outside the ring."

Is 'Canelo' planning to retire soon?

The amount of achievement he has achieved in 2023 indicates that maintaining on this plateau may not be possible for much longer. Although he has declared that he would battle for a few more years, it is clear that aging will ultimately catch up with him. However, in this day and technology, players may extend their careers until over 40 years old. Other all-time greats in sports, such as Leo Messi, LeBron James, and Cristiano Ronaldo, are live proof that 'Canelo' can go on for at least a decade.
