Cristiano Ronaldo. Just that name evokes images of lightning-fast dribbles, powerful strikes, and an insatiable hunger for goals. And now, at the age of 39, CR7 has achieved another astonishing feat: scoring for 23 consecutive years!

Remember October 7, 2002? A 17-year-old Ronaldo, playing for Sporting CP, bagged his first two professional goals against Moreirense. Fast forward 23 years, and the legend continues. In 2023, Ronaldo topped the global scoring charts with a staggering 54 goals, leaving young guns like Mbappe and Haaland in his dust.

But 2024 isn't any different. His recent goal against Al Fayha extended his scoring streak to a remarkable 23 years! Between 2011 and 2014, while at Real Madrid, he even surpassed the 60-goal mark, setting a personal record of 69 goals in 2013. He's crossed the 40-goal mark a whopping 12 times in a single year!

Ronaldo's trophy cabinet is overflowing: top scorer in club football history (741 goals), all-time leading scorer for Portugal (128 goals), and five Ballon d'Or awards, just to name a few. But the fire still burns bright. "I'm going to play this year and next year," he declared. "If my body allows, I'll keep going."

So, can we expect to see Ronaldo grace the pitch in the 2026 World Cup, at the age of 40? Only time will tell. But one thing's for sure: Cristiano Ronaldo's dedication, passion, and relentless pursuit of goals are an inspiration to athletes and fans worldwide.
